Default New Crawford Plenum i need help

Whats up people, i just installed the plenum but i'm having major problems with start up...the car turns on idles really harshly and then dies out. Also, when i turn on the car there is a loud scream. Can someone help me out, i dunno what to do.

sounds like a leak somewhere...

check the PCV blow by tube that connects to your intake tube... make sure it isnt kinked...

Did you remove the M3 bracket per the instructions??

I dont see anything that mentions the M3 bracket in the instructions. Im gonna check the tube the intake but i didnt even remove that during installation.

maybe i should have read it better i see that now in the beginning. You think that would be the problem?

aight than Phoenix, you were right. I didnt think that the bracket would make much of a difference

What's the significance of removing that bracket and cutting the wiring loom?

That M3 bracket created a gap under the plenum and i guess it was causing a leak. For some reason on the instructions, the picture shows the Crafwford plenum with the bracket but in the instructions it says to take it off. I just took this thing around for a drive, i'm loving it. I had the Kinetix version 4 at one point, and it has a grumbling sound all the time...i didnt like it too much. This one sounds great and it pulls alot over 3k rpms.
