Default 350Z 5at(Injen exhaust) Dynos at 264!

I went to get a dyno pull today and was surprised on the results. First run it was 245 at 6200rpm. After a cool down second run was a whopping 264 at 6700rpm! All done on 4th gear. I knew I had a factory freak!

He tells me a stock 6spd Z dynos around 245 or so. For an auto 235 or so. This was done on a Mustang Dyna

Ya Sports Compact Magazine dyno a 2003 track model @ 249 HP and 240 Torque.. So he's about right with those #'s....

They say Mustang Dyno's are more accurate... So those are pretty good #'s for a automatic with just an exhaust....

Lets see the chart, and I don't buy that Mustang dynos always dyno lower than Dynojets. I have seen otherwise personally. There are so many factors that go into the numbers. So if you have the chart, can you post it up. Plus I don't know how the max power went up 19 hp and moved up in the RPM 500 between runs.

I try to post the chart but it doesnt download into the site. I think its too big. The max torque was a disappointing 214.2 @5500rpm. It was cool out and there was a fan in front of the car. The shop has the fastest VQ Z in the world.

yeah my car with my mods only got a "crappy" 269whp, so maybe i should get that exhaust?

probably if i dynoed right afterword on the same dyno in NYC, I think my numbers would be much higher than 269whp

Those are some decent #s. I do drive my Z hard. Especially after the exhaust install.

4th for the 5at is the 1.00 gear. The 6spd 5th is the 1.00
