Phunk,
You have very GOOD and valid questions, however the answers are exactly what took us so long to find. So of course, I wont be telling you all the exact dimensions and plenum volume ratios that we came to.
But here are a couple answers.
All the runners are the SAME length overall, so yes some are staggered
** the factory lower plenum runners are not the same length!! , this may have been due to space limitations but they are different by around .5"
We may in the future offer additional "bung" welding for nitrous, injectors, etc.
The manifold does come with 1 extra 1/8" npt bung with plug welded in.

Also, it is true that I have a Crawford plenum, but that makes no difference. The guys at Crawford have been great to me but my loyalty is to making power above everything else. If it turns out the gains are that significant my Crawford will be up for sale in a heartbeat. I am definitely not afraid of spending money to make power.
And if you read my whole post you would see that I am hoping the intake manifold makes that much power. It just seems too good to be true. Especially with the VQ35.

you will lose low end torque...lots
you will only see minimal gains at valve floating rpm's
you could mount a wash tub on the z for an intake and blow 15lbs in there...would run like hell

yes I've read them all
this guy is primarily talking about FI gains, I don't doubt that
this looks to me like another n/a dispointment
unless you want to drive your z like an s2000

This manifold WILL clear the factory strut bar, and should fit most aftermarket bars, however I cant make promises on the aftermarket bars yet because we have not personally tried them.

This new "upper half" manifold sounds great. BUT, it still maintains the extra bend of the OEM lower manifold, keeping an extra bend in the intake air flow. Is it not possible to make a COMPLETELY new intake that bolts directly to the heads? Having the straightest run to the intake valve just makes sense to me. This would require a cross ram manifold. But why hasn't anyone explored this concept?

I have a feeling that NA gains will not be as exciting.....but I'm hoping for sure.
