Default Help with Kinetix V4 install

Just finished up my plenum install. Everything went very smooth until I started the motor up. Iam getting a very bad whistle Very Very loud, almost alarm sounding. anyone have this problem? anyone know how to fix this problem? Hope i didn't damage the motor.

it is a leak.

check for vacuum leaks

check that the rubber cuff around the oil cap didnt sneak in between the plenum sandwich.

checkthe throttlebody bolts..

check for the M3 metal plate! You may need to cut a small part of the M3 plate off.

you shouldn't have to cut the plate for the v4 from kinetix i dont think.. well at least i didn't have to when i had mine

Definetly leak. It would be extremely hard to damage your motor with this kind of mod. At worst, it will just run like crap, or not run at all, so don't stress out.

Making sure you torque it down properly and IN THE RIGHT ORDER would help eliminate the leak. If you didn't torque it right, or in the right order, it is extremely likely it is not on there evenly.

If you are looking at it from the front ... look at the right front side where the oil cap is ... the gasket there tends to get stuck in between the Kinetix and the stock lower.
