Will popcharger void warrenty of the Z?
I went in for a TSB the other day and they confirmed I had a A/C TSB issue and they told me that they will order the kit (many pieces) the next day, my popccharger arrived and I installed it.
I was wondering if I brought the car back to the dealer when the parts are in and they are ready to do the TSB. will they look at the popcharger and say that my warrenty is void?
PS: I'm also installing my Borla True Dual Exhaust this weekend... can they really say that it will void the warrenty and not install the A/C which has nothing to do with the exhaust system?

Thanks for the feedback, DB6mt04z33.
I called the dealer about my A/C TSB that they were going to do and ask if a popcharger would void my warrenty and that I wouldn't be able to get my A/C TSB done.
They told me that they look at things on a case by case bases, so if I put in a popcharger and something gets sucked into my engine, that voids the warrenty on them fixing the engine. But if the A/C goes and that has nothing to do with the popcharger, then they will fix it.
On another note about your nismo comment. I went into the parts area and asked them for a quote on the nismo CAI and installation. They informed me that the nismo CAI was a R-Type, I asked so what? and they told me that nismo products have two ratings, one rating is for stuff that does not void your warrenty, the other rating (I think its R-Type) voids your warrenty.
It does make sense though, the CAI will push your engine harder hence they can't warrenty the engine lasting a certain amount of miles or whatever that their original setup rated it lasting.
I'm in Canada so I don't know if it is the same in the States.

No they won't......a popcharger is perfectly O.K. It is illegal to just void the whole warranty for a mod....the dealer must prove the modded part is the cause of some failure in order to void the warranty of a particular factory part. I have a catback and a popcharger and have had no problems getting service and the same goes for just about everyone else who has one.

It is called the Magnusson-Moss Warranty Act.
Read about it here:

The regulations here in Sweden are not so tight in this area, though i think basically the same rule would apply that if its proven that the mod caused the faliure the warranty would be voided (which is quite logical and fair)

The Pop Charger certainly will have no affect on your warranty regarding A/C components. Aftermarket parts can only void the warranty if they are show to cause the failure. One thing you will void with the Pop Charger is any warranty on the MAF. Nissan released a TSB about the oil in aftermarket filters gumming up MAF sensors.
