Those with aftermarket intake plenums...
i think kinetix should be okay. again the newer versions have come out with no heard of problems...the guy who melted his plenum did abuse it by lettingt idl3 in the hot sun for 3 hours. unless you plan to do that i think the kinetix is a good option besides crawford.
Not to hi-jack this subject too much, but what’s the hold up on the APS plenum. It was supposed to be for sell last December, and then the new release date was scheduled for the last week of June. They still have not shipped distributor back-orders out when I checked last.
Got tried of waiting on how their product would compare to the existing plenums and ordered the Crawford last week.

I have had the Kinetix plenum for a couple months. I found a good price on a used one and have been happy with it. It fits and sounds great and I like the fact you can keep the factory strut bar. FWIW, I have had no problems running it in the 110 degree Arizona heat. I have had a few Kinetix products and always received outstanding customer service.
i've run the kinetix v4, crawford cast, and then md 1/2" spacer. never had any problems with any of them, and i run my z hard. each has its own strong and weak points. overall, if i had to do it over again, because i like the stock strut bar and engine cover, i'd go with the kinetix. it also has a cool resonance, and you can run it hard without it getting hot (with one very extreme exception). jmo.
