Default How is this combo of H/E?

I have a JWT popcharger in the mail now, and I'm looking to compliment it with a nice header/exhaust combo. I was looking at the HKS Ti system but it's a bit pricey at $1400-1500. For the same price I can get the Greddy EVO2 dual and DC Sports ceramic headers. Can anyone comment on these 3 mods as a combo? Intense Motorsports has that header/exhaust combo shipped to VA for ~$1500.

Well I like the nismo just because it looks like stock. Not a fan of seeing two large pipes sticking out from under my car. but thats just me. AS for sound I will say DC headers, AAM test pipes and nismo exhast is VERY LOUD and most people dont like that.

But if I was going to do it over I would do same thing I have now just add the AAM test y pipe and take my nismo off

DC headers
AAM test pipes
AAM y pipe
nismo mufflers and exhaust tips

Went to a local shop today, Carrss, and their performance guy was really pushing a Stillen exhaust system. The install for the exhaust would be about $250 and the header would be anywhere from $400-600 depending on whether they would have to lift the engine. So we're talking $2000 for little more than 25-30hp. Damn I want a TT.

Holy SH$$ I REPEAT THIS DO NOT USE CARRSS BRO. They have no idea what there doing trust me been there done that!!!!!!

take some time find somebody to follow you and let altered work on your car. I know a few guys that had motor work done by carrss and it allways needed to be fixed!!!

Even better if you just want some bolt ones call jason at mintz tire they can work on just about anything thats bolt on I have had them do a few installs . I wouldnt get them to install headers but exhast for sure.

I kinda got that vibe while I was there. Stereo stuff and rims seemed to be their thing, not performance. Are you talking about Altered in MD?

We should do that, or meet up at Bailey's in the west end. Not sure about the meet this weekend. Gotta see what's going on at home.
