SS......R? Intake manifold ? (yeah I didnt mean SSV either)
Kinetix SSV has been the flavor of flavors about intake manifolds for a while now - regarded as the top dog....

FI it gains up top, but loses a lot down low
that's what I remember SSR telling me when I called them
they did not (and probably still don't) have a dyno

i was thinking the same thing- why hasnt anyone come out with one like this yet? i'm trying to think of the possible downsides (clearance, routing of the intake piping, etc.) but i dont really see anything obvious. i think eliminating that severe bend at the rear of the IM would definitely yield better flow...then again i guess that's why i'm not in the manifold-making business.
350EVO is working on that. Their intake manifold will probalby do that and be made of carbon fiber or something exotic like that. I'm guessing it'll put the throttlebody up where the current stock intake location is
