Stupid question about JWT Pop Charger?
Will installing a pop charger decrease the overall life of you car? I would be content with leaving it stock if it would mean getting more miles down the road. I do not intend on trading in the next year or two, but rather keep it until its paid off, then trading up.
I do not drive the car too terribly hard, just an occasional burst of speed to show off or teach some punk a lesson.
I have a 03 touring with 22k miles, no mods as of yet (other than tint) but I thought the pop charger would be a good place to start.

I guess it's never to late to start...LOL. Sucking up more-cool-unrestricted air will only make your motor happier. It will thank you with a growl the next time you sucker punch it.

It's no different than any other filter, in that respect....It just has a fancy moniker and looks cool when you open your hood.....Simple as that....
Your motor would have the same longevity with any filter, as long as it's doing it's job, which is filtering.......
The only thing that will mess up your engine is if you suck up water in your intake. But you shouldnt have that problem with a popcharger. I sucked up water one time in the rain with me CAI and my car was having trouble running. Thank god i didnt hydrolock it. I would have punched myself in the dick if that happened

haha that's good stuff. But, yeah a filter is a filter. The CAi and pop charger are basically used for looks and noise. The potential for more HP is just barely noticeable...if not at all. THat said...pop charger is gonna be my 1st mod
