People here will probably tell u to do a search. But personally I have no experience with these products, and in process of researching them. I hope someone else can answer ur question. If all else fails just use the search button up top where it says forums.

I don't think that an intake changes the sound of the exhaust (any exhaust). If you are moving a greater volume of air through the exhaust system, the overall volume may increase a bit, but the signature tone of the OEM exhaust remains the same.

That is a fact , A new aftermarket Plenum now that will change a note on the exhaust but any CAI or short ram doesnt change exhaust but you will get a new shoosh sound when you punch the gas comming from under the hood...

Contrary to a few other posts I think that the intake can change the exhaust note. I have had a Injen Intake and then went to a Nismo Intake with no other changes and the exhaust volume and amount of drone went down.

Unfortunatly I have never heard either of those two intakes so can be of no help there. =(

GruppeM.... I've never seen one in person or known someone who has one.

Although I saw it on one of the performance nissan Z's in a magazine. I would be interested in the gains etc.

Maybe one of the Perf Nissan guys can chime in?

This is the only place I've seen it sold:

$845!!!!

The JWT Popcharger will give you a nice sound when you go over 4000k rpms. And it has proven dyno to give 6.5 horsepower. And only cost $120 and you can get a used one for around $60-$75. You can check the dyno chart out at this website: http://www.jimwolftechnology.com/cus...asp?PartID=350

Yeah; those two intakes are the most expensive out there, which doesn't neccessarily translate to the best. Hard to go wrong with JWT Popcharger and have lots of money left over for other mods. Evo-R is working on replicating that duct from the HKS, which can then be added to the popcharger or any other short ram intake, so you basically end up with the same thing for much less.

+1 on the PopCHarger..
The sound is worth the $$$ alone.

Gains are not that big, but other breather mods potentially can benefit from this one.

Did I mention it sounds freaking awsome...
