Default exhausts exhausts - input please

More I read about Injen exhaust, the more confused I get. Majority of the owners seems to lose power at the lower/mid range. Why why why?
this is the best looking exhaust IMO and the right price range. I wanna be told everything will be ok. after buying, I don't wanna lay in a fetal position. underneath my desk, rocking back and forth whispering and crying, 'this is not happening to me'

my opinion

nismo - great sound.. piping a bit too small.
greddy evo.. I like the coffee cans looks and sounds good (another option)
borla- too many parts= prone for leaks?
HKS ti hi power - similar look to injen, better gains.. 2x price
Invidia g200? - looks ok, but nothing special
tommy kaira - most exotic tone ever.. but unavailable or super $$$

Huh? The NISMO piping is 76mm, the stock and most other aftermarket exhausts are 60mm or less.

I guess it's got the dual wall thingy on the tips, making it look smaller.

Actually, I think my tips look huge, especially compared to stock.

Stock tips are 87mm, the NISMO tips are 96 x 107mm. They look even larger because of the diagonal cut that causes it to appear to be an oval.

I have the Borla and I do not have any leaks. I agree that there are alot of pipes but, if it is installed correctly, you shouldn't have any problems.

I debated between the NISMO and Borla and after talking to the local installer, I passed on the Borla. He recommended that he tack weld each of the joints to prevent creaking and eventual leaking. From what I've seen over the last two years, that's a fairly common practice.

just get the injen an add an x-pipe... I added one for about $100 bucks and it's made the system sound and perform WAY better

I’m very pleased with the performance of the Injen Super SES Cat-Back Exhaust System.

You may also want to include the Fuji exhaust also, tips are huge and tone is similar to nismo but a bit deeper and more exotic (from what I hear, anyone heard Fuji exhaust that can say how it sounds?) I know I am considering the Fuji.

I have the Fujitsubo exhaust, and it sounds awesome! Deeper than stock, and very exotic sounding. Louder than stock, but not annoyingly so. The only thing I don't quite like are the tips, which are thin-walled, but they do look huge.
