Default Will this fit under factory strut bar?

I was thinking about doing the revup lower plenum, 5/16" spacer and Kinetix V upper plenum. Will I have any fitment issues with the factory strut bar?

Just want to make sure before I have to replace crap!

I don't know if you'll have fitment issues, I suspect you would. But I wonder if the whole combination is a good idea. Some guys said if you use revup lower plenum and then a spacer or upper plenum then won't gain anything or worse. I think I read that in the SportZ magazine plenum comparison test thread on this forum.
But I would like it if someone would be the guiny pig to try it out. So go ahead, make my day.

http://www.motordyneengineering.com/350Z.asp says that the 5/16 inch spacer is OK with the OEM strut brace.
http://www.kinetixracing.com/index.a...WPROD&ProdID=9 says that the Kinetix V upper plenum is OK with the OEM strut brace.
So the question is “how tall is the revup lower plenum?”

I don't see why the lower plenum would be higher.

My only concern is did they factor each as being higher? I know the spacer is ok and the Kinetix is ok but add them up...is that still ok for fitment?

you WILL NOT have problem. You will if you use aftermarket hood.

Now I understand. Each mod by itself is a tight fit. I’ve seen 350Z owners tweak the OEM strut brace with spacers. Also glue rubber pads to the inside of the hood. If the combination does not works, you’ll just have to get another strut brace from Crawford, Air Power Systems or Stillen.

i think a bigger concern should be what would be the outcome of all those plenum mods. if the 1/2 makes only 1hp more than the 5/16, i doubt you'd get any add'l benefit from all those add'l plenum mods.

+1. I think you'd be wasting your time and $ combining them. Talk to Hydrazine from Motordyne as he has probably tested more plenum combos on a dyno than just about anyone.
