Holy moly i get like 25mpg average after putting in the ssv. I thought i just had a good shot of gas at first but the 2nd tank got me 410 miles on about 14 gallons. Do the math for me!
Is it possible that the Z is running lean? Once the ECU “learns” your new mod, it will signal the injectors to add more fuel. Then fuel mileage will decrease. Maybe?
I hope not, i'm liking the extra power and the added fuel efficiency -.-.. and the sound. I want to hear a crawford or plenum spacer to know what it sounds like.
How many miles did you drive since the SSV install ? Is it still "economic" after a thousand miles ? What other breathing mods do you have ? Thank you for the information.
I have had it on for about 900 miles and so far im at a steady 24.3 mpg w/ highway and city, and i drive it like a michael shoomocker (sp?lol). It used to be 18.2.
The key to gtting the bolts in is it put the bolts into the SSV before u put it on the block, and tighten them just a little bit after
