Default aftermarket exhaust question

im looking at getting an eaftermarket exhaust system for my z. My question is is there a system that keeps the stock VQ tone, but only amplified.

i looked through the sound clip sticky but some didnt work and some were poor quality.

So do any aftermakrt kits keep the stock tone??

I would recommend Borla. Deeper sound.

If you want an exhaust system that you think sounds similar to the OEM exhaust I suggest attending a 350Z meet and listening to various set-ups.

Nismo keeps the stock tone, but amplifies it. Fuji is basically the same exhaust.

i posted this in another thread asking the same thing...

theres a company out here in socal called Fast Intentions (www.fastintentions.com) that has a complete set of true duals from test pipes-back soon hitting the market. i got to hear it and drive it because it was tested on my car and let me tell you this... the sound was stock x 5 in volume with a growl in WOT. It was perfect. not to mention the gains were incredible... keep an eye out for these guys. they are in their final stages and the exhaust system will be released soon. you should definitely check this out before you purchase anything.
