Check out the exhaust forum - there are tons of sound threads in there.

I have the Nismo and really like it. Its quite when you want it to be.........and loud when you WOT it. It really depends how loud you want to go. The nismo takes the stock VQ sound and enhances it.....very exotic.

I went to Z meeting and checked out all after-market exaust systems people
have and I liked NISMO the best. -Which is on my car right now
Not very loud and keeps the stock Z sound but more bassy, more definition to it. Now throw in a pop charger it will sound even meaner

There is no right answer. You'll get 10 or so different responses. The right exhaust for you is the one you choose based on your desires. My favorites are the Nismo and the Injen Super SES.

I think it sounds so smooth stock, I fear that adding a new exhaust would make it sound worse. Any clips of the Nismo?

Im keepin that wonderful stock sound, but from what I have heard in person and in sound clips, nismo is good and definitely check out Fujitsubo (it is badass and not obnoxiously loud)

can't go wrong with nismo.. I installed HKS and test pipes last weekend. I was scared death about my car sounding crap, as well. well, my nightmare came true. It sounded too loud, raspy and absolutely horrid. Then I drove around for about a 120 miles and it settled in. It's starting to purr and I'm digging it I'll post some clips and pics, this weekend.

My buddy with a G35 owns the HKS with Megan testpipes and it took a good week for it to fully break in and the rasp went away....this is an eye catcher exhaust though and sounds mean!

You'll be making a mistake if you don't check out the PIT system. Do a search. I really like mine.
