Yes. Please do.

I will also send paperwork in the package for lower collector returns.

PS Everyone - Clean and package your lower collectors very well before shipping. Thanks!

MREV++ is a horrible name for a product so it is officially now called MREV-2.
Its the same part though.

Thanks wren, your feedback is anxiously awaited. Thanks for taking the plunge. I trust we won't be dissappointed.

I also tested it on my REVUP engine (without a spacer) and the results in my opinion were unacceptable. It made ~25 ft/lbs TQ in the midrange but it lost too much at peak. So far, it looks like the REVUP may still require a spacer for optimum highend response. I would have liked to continue testing but it was getting late for us and for the shop owner.

And I'll get cracking on the data for detailed analysis.

Tony

PS It was good meeting everyone! Finally got to place a face on all the board names. Maybe we can do Sushi when more time is available.
It has been stated that the results of the MREV-2 were unacceptable when installed on a REVUP engine. Let's not forget that the MREV and MREV+ started out as mods for only REVUP engines... has it been shown yet that adding a spacer to the MREV-2 on a 300hp engine produces a more acceptable result? Will MREV+ still be offered for those with 300hp REVUP engines?

Also, I thought the whole point of these independent dynos was to verify that MREV-2 is better than MREV+... and yet (other than your own initial dyno) I don't think I've seen anything but a baseline dyno compared to MREV-2 with and without a spacer. Where are all the MREV-2 to MREV+ comparisons?

Good questions. I was hoping to get some sort of a deal during this if V2+Spacer worked out on revup, but seeing only V2 and no "MRev+" or "V1" listed on the site leaves me sitting and watching you guys have all the fun.

So do you reuse all of the gaskets or do new ones come with the kit.

Well I was going to go ahead and install my lower plenum but have decided to wait a while. Even after sanding with 60, 100 and 200 grit sandpaper AND rubbing down the manifold hard with grade 4, 2, and 0 steel wool it still looks like crap... NOTHING like the smooth/shiny version shown on the website. I've contacted Hydrazine and am awaiting a response before installing. I've attached pictures of *edit* the manifold I recieved from motordyne */edit* vs. the advertised manifold for reference; the first two pictures are my manifold, the third is what is advertised.

Look a little different to you?

Wow, no blending of the milled off tops of the two front runners at all. Sharp edges. Not what I would expect to see. So this is an Mrev++?

So can those of us in Southern California drop off our old lower plenum and pay/pick up the MREV2 some where? I don't want to go through the hassel of paying online, packing up my old plenum, shipping it off and then waiting for the refund.

Thanks!

So if you were to pick a setup wich one would it be, mrev 2, 5/16 spacer, or mrev 2 with 5/16 spacer. I want to buy this but im not sure if its worth the time and money.
