When I am producing results in *my* lab, I know I have to do a FULL AND COMPLETE set of experiments just so that the paper I am trying to publish doesn't fall under the scrutiny of this type:
"Great results on X, now why didn't you test Y and Z?"
Something of this nature actually happened to our research group recently, and while it hurts to have people think you might be omitting bad results to make your main results look better, it is ultimately something that you just need to do.
I believe you are obligated, for your own good, to complete a dyno test on a Z. For the sake of repeatable results, and for the sake of completing an unambiguous set of experiments that everyone can agree are (1) Unskewed and (2) repeatable on ANY 287HP VQ35, not just one with the G35 sedan setup.

We don't own a dyno (yet
) but your proposal is good.Skepticism is normal and expected with the release of any new product.
And this is why I test the products very carefully before releasing any information on it.
Motordyne can exchange a MMP lower plenum (no charge) if you can dyno it and publish the results here.
Use the dyno shop of your choice. I can do the installation on the dyno if you are somewhat local. If you would like to test the entire sequence I can supply a spacer, hardware and any tools needed for the testing.
Which ever you prefer.
One thing that I ask for is:
Same dyno
Same day
Same ambient conditions
Same tank of gas
ECU resets at the beginning of each set
Same coolant temperature (190'F +/- 2 degF)
All mod installations performed without removing the car from the dyno.
And all other variables be held as constant as reasonably possible.

all i would have to get is:
- 5/16" Iso Thermal Plenum Spacer ($265)
- MREV plus ($344)
- if we send in our factory lower plenum (-$222)
total of $387 + shipping for the most gain still using our factory strut bar on an 03 Z correct?

Seeing how the maching process was able to make gains by modifying one area if the lower plenum, I was thinking I may be able to do the same machining process to another area of the lower plenum. I think I see an area that could benefit fom it.
I've dyno tested a lot of different modifications to the lower plenum and I know some types of modifications don't work and some work well. The latests results are shown above.
Knowing what works, I had an idea on how it may be possible to apply this to a another area of the lower plenum. I should be able to machine this additional modification to the lower plenum this week and dyno it on the same G35 sedan. I'll post the results and we'll see what it does to the power curve.
