Default Exhaust Systems

Hi guys, I'm new to the forum and all (you can read my 1st post in the announcements section) I'll be getting a Z in about a year, and I want to do some tasteful mods to it. I want to car to look as much like stock as possible, but to have higher performace. My main question is about the exhaust, I want one that will increse performace, but one that wont be so loud that its obnoxius when I drive, because this is my daily driver, and I drive alot on the highway for extended periods of time around 4 hrs (originally 6 becaust thats what i tell my parents) from Chicago to Carbondale. Do they even make exhausts that are quiet, also how loud is a stock exhaust. Also, just for my own curiousity what is a ballpark number for 6th gear RPM at like 60-70-80 mph?

Thanks

You'll be ~ 3K RPM near 70MPH, if i remember correctly.
I think the stock exhaust is sweet

The intake/exhaust section has a whack of info available to help you out. There's quite a few MP3 clips within various threads that'll give you a good idea of what you personally like.

How will a popcharger sound different than say a K&N air intake?
