SVRTech 2.5" dual exhaust group buy.
I liked the way the 3" on the turbo sounded better. That seems to sound very similar to my Borla, "more deep than loud" and since I have non-resonated test pipes mine borla sounds very similar up top as well.
The other clip posted really sounded mean as hell, and that is what I am looking for, but will be staying NA till my warenty is up. Is there anyway you can change out those "super quiet" resonators to get the aggressive sound of the 3"?

but if you want loud, we can hook ya up with the smaller resonators.
Hey..Ive had the exhaust for 2 weeks now and heres my final review now thats its broken in:
The exhaust itself is ~56 lbs, vs 80ish lbs for stock exhaust + cats. Theres a 30lbs savings. Now I never noticed a difference, however its great knowing so. The quality of th eexhaust is superb. The polish is great, however its not really NEEDED since you won't see the exhaust once its on.
Install:
The actual install is easier than the APS exhaust i installed. Once you get the front pipes in and X pipe in the exhaust becomes rigid even w/o anything being tightened which is great. I opted for the 4' tips w/ an angled exit. Its not a super 30% angle like most uber JDM cars, its more of a 15-20 degree angle, which looks great. The clamps w/ the male-female pipes is great, i dont see how they can ever leak, since the female end is toward the back of the car. Gas would have to go backwards to ever leak. The U-clamps are also of utmost quality.
The fitment on the 2.5' Is amazing. The only thing that needed adjustment is the rear muffler, which sometimes hit the bumper when it was still warming up. I dont blame scott for this, since I have a OEM replacement bumper...and it sags in the back middle ><. I will fix this by putting washers under the stock hanger rubber shindag. If you opt for the straight out, this problem will likely never occur.
Sound:
On startup, when cold, the car will be very loud and bassy and sound like a big V8. Once it warms up, the exhaust is mildly quiet again. Around town, the exhaust is mild on the outside, but since its very bassy, it feels loud inside. Once you get on it, you can hear the cam change over because the cars note TOTALLY changes. It goes from sounding like an inline 6 to a V8ish..v6ish deep throaty sound w/ the VQ note KINDA in there all mixed together. I can tell this is because of the X pipe. Even w/o cats or HFC or resonated TP's, there is ABSOLUTELY no rasp. Im no longer ambarrased of gunning it cuz rasp makes a Z sound like asscrack. Also, there is very little decel pop. If you get out of gear at 4K+ rpm, you'll hear 2 AND only 2 pop pop as it revs to idle. Once i made one of those really loud pops, but i have the SSV manifold, and its known to make a car run slightly rich.
Performance:
Yes, i finally got on it.. After I felt the exhaust had properly broken in (cuz ive had bad experiences before), i did a WOT run. The car sounds like a crazy V8 at WOT. The note has the distinct Z note, however, its pretty deep and not high pitched like a stock Z, and it almost sounds like a LS1ish+the Z note, if that makes any sense. Throttle response is greatly increased. The car no longer pulls, then stops and pulls again. It feels great. The torque is most obvious at around 3500-5000RPM, and it continues to pull nicely. I'd like to do a dyno, but I got new wheels, tires, lowering springs and im quite broke. Maybe soon, in a week or so, at MRC(Donate to paypal fund to get it done NOW... plumpzz1337@gmail.com..any funds appreciated
:
!). I have pre dynos w/ an APS exhaust on APS TP's, so it'll be a delta vs the APS setup, which is 2.5 w/o X pipe. This will show the difference an X pipe can do I guess.
Once again, thanks Scott for making such a great exhaust thats not too quiet, not too loud and defeinately is worth the money!!!

No i didnt, the new wheels will be lighter, plus the MRC is load dyno, so the wheels will have very little impact. New wheels are lighter, w/ lighter tires lol..
Btw to the guy who thinks the quiet version is quiet..its not lol. Its called the quieter version cuz its quieter than the uber loud version. Honestly, it wont be much louder because of the fact that the resonator is the size of my palm, but it wont sound any different. I make glass shake and car a larms go off when i drive by them. :-D
