Default intake combo?

Hey guys I got a question.. Can a spacer be used with aftermarket plenum cover? crawford, skunk, etc..

Can a spacer be used with the kinetix intake manifold?

What combos are/ aren't possible.

Current setup
All 3 underdrive pulleys from unauthorized
Headers, test pipes, y-pipe.

Future, plan on getting single turbo kit.

Any recommendations??

Aftermarket upper plenums are an exact fit so hardware such as upper to lower plenum gasket is the same. Yes a plenum spacer should fit.

But before you get that far have you reviewed the Sport Z magazine plenum vs plenum spacer shoot-out results?

You can look at the dyno results at http://www.motordyneengineering.com/ which give a pretty good feel for the test results.

So I can buy a 5/8 or 1/2 spacer and install for example a Crawford plenum as well?

they both claim 10+ hp at wheels at least, so 20rwhp ?

examples: skunk spacer, mrev plenum? aps plenum with motordyne spacer? just wondering thanks!

Their's a diminishing return on these modifications. I wish you could just add the hp gains up like that but it does not work that way.

Go to these links for more information:

Those are just a few, more may be found here by using the search function. Hope that helps.

Thanks,
Gary

I believe Crawford is working on one but, none are readily available yet to my knowledge. Their are plenty of other mods available now though.
