mrev2 doenst change the height of the plenum. the spacer does. and the 5/16" spacer clears the strut bar and the hood with the strut bar spacers supplied.

1. I have an '06 Rev-up...I already got the AAM Angled spacer

2. Should I sell my AAM spacer for the MREV2 and 5/16 MD Spacer?

3. Is it worth it?

i'm not sure about getting the MD spacer since you already have one, but i know the mrev2 is really good for the revup. So definetely consider that.

This OPINION is for 287HP motors - People, if you have a spacer don't waste your money on the MREV2. If you don't have a spacer, don't waste your money on the MREV2, get a spacer(used). Use the money for an MREV2 toward an EMS(utec) of some type.

Just MY OPINION!

do these spacers void the factory warranty? and the site said they are for off road use only, but would a smog shop notice that it was installed in the computer or would it slip by them. any experience?

OK, guys I need your help. My Z is stock right now but pretty soon i will slowly be upgrading. I did some researching and it looks like MREV2 is the first thing I will do. I have a NON revup Z. I want to clarify some things.
1. For non revup should I just get a MREV2, or MREV2 with a 5/16 spacer.
2. Do I also need to upgrade my plenum or would the stock one be fine.
3. As there any good combinations with the MREV2 and aftermarket plenums to get the most HP.
Please help!!!

Just curious,

DOes installing the mrev2 and 5/16 spacer affect your gas mileage in anyway? Whether good or bad?

Yeah it does since your motor has to sound like a V8 it gives you the same mileage as a Pontiac GTO 7 ....... hahaha jk

Read post #69! I installed the mrev2 before the spacer and felt little if anything. Then I installed a used skunk2 spacer and felt an immediate difference. I wouldn't recommend a skunk2, go with the motordyne 5/16. The mrev2 is a little pricey for what it does IMO

Does the 1/2 spacer make the car sound more like a V8 then a 5/16 spacer?

Also, will the 1/2 spacer lose more high end horsepower than the 5/16?

Yeah I would take my v6 sound over most domestic v8's in the price range, our vq makes beautiful music.

1. For non revup should I just get a MREV2, or MREV2 with a 5/16 spacer.

Only do both if you know your A/F ratio is below 13 or if you have a reflash or engine management. Doing both provides more power but only about 2-6 more at various parts of the curve.

2. Do I also need to upgrade my plenum or would the stock one be fine.

Stock is optimal with a 5/16" spacer.

3. As there any good combinations with the MREV2 and aftermarket plenums to get the most HP.

If you had a REVUP engine, definitly. But since you don't, I wouldn't bother unless you are a dyno fiend or dedicated track *****.
