Default Kinetix SSV

From the first time I saw this installed on a Z I fell in LOVE. I really want to get this but wanted to know from people that have it or know about it what gains did it have. Or if there is something like that but better out there. And finnally, if anyone is selling one that I can buy.

Welcome.

One of the greatest tools here is search. I checked SSV in the exhaust forum and found 144 posts: a wealth of information.

But without people like me posting things that already have been people like you will have nothing to post about and would have never reached the grand master level of 10,000+ posts.

Not trying to be ignorant, honestly, but it is true.

And also I posted this hoping that someone was about to sell theres and I would be able to get it, since I am not yet able to post in the wanted section.

Since you choose not to search let me summarize for you. The SSV has some gains for FI, but no gains and maybe some losses, depending on your configuration, if you're NA. There are other, better performing plenums like the APS and the Crawford, and in my opinion, look just as nice and closer to OEM. And btw, I'm not doing this to attain 10k posts, most of us couldn't care less.

I was really just kidding on the # of posts and all. But if everyone did do an hour of searching before any post, the amount would cut down and most people wouldn't have much use being here anymore. And already I have noticed that no matter what the subject, whether it has been talked about or is a fresh new subject, that someone will reply with "search first."

And without a large amount of new post that people can either comment on, give imput on, or burn people on, My350z.com will not be as popular and a large amount of people and sponsors will just lose interest. So I guess what I am saying is, My350z.com needs people to be retards and lazy and post topics that already have been discussed 20k+ times.

Anyways, thank you for the reply, it is something I will have to think about. I do plan to supercharge the car later this year, but also I am not looking for an OEM look. Where I am at now is, I want performance but I also want the looks. I also do not feel like paying for a plenum that looks OEM just to change it later. not sure what to do yet.

Your logic is a little scewed, there are forums out there that don't operate on that principle of allowing the same threads/posts over and over again... They seem to be fine and help to cut down on alot of the bull crap.

There are tons of threads, all with very similar answers/questions...

So no this site does not need that (retards and lazy people), just like others do not.

What we don't need are people who want instant gratification and want to benefit from others work without putting anything in. And when told to take the time to search, read, and learn get all upset like a small child that was told they couldn't have something (not exactly directed at your self, but in general).

We are all basically here to help each other, but like all good relationships it is a two way street.

And with that said, I have the manifiold... And it is purdy, I always get compliments and looks from it.

On the performance said of it other than the looks, I don't know of any differences since I didn't do a accurate before and after dyno results.

I would like to think that since it replaces the upper and lower plenum along with seeming to be shorter and less restricted bends it would help.

And makes it easier to get to stuff that you would have to remove the OEM plenum.

My HP stayed the same but I lost a bit of TQ with the SSV from the Crawford. It does look better than it performs... I still have my crawford sitting in my garage tho just in case I want to switch it out...

Oh for God's sake, just say it: Spacer > Crawford > Kinetix SSV

Read this thread, and look at the dynos. This was tested on a stock car. The SSV lost power for us. I thought it did ok but then i looked at the dyno closer and there was a blip at the end of the dyno graph. This was a error on the dyno.

Hope this helps

then, is there a intake like it that looks good, replaces upper and lower, has no loss in power on N/A, and is a good mod for FI? I saw that speed force racing looks ok, but not sure if it can be used with FI.

...and don't forget, "it costs less than $50, is easy to install, and has CARB approval too".
