Just got my TopSpeed headers yesterday and yes, the inside welds are ground smooth. I actually wasn't expecting that so it was a nice surprise.

I do agree with you though, if you install it yourself then top speed isn't a bad choice at all. Especially with the jet hot coating, because you are basically saving a lot of money on labor.

my TopSpeed headers looks exactly like the ones posted... look to be great quality also.. can't beat the resonated test pipes either... just waiting to get around to doing the install. Looks like i'm gonna have my hands full

Truthfully, I am not a fan of any of the headers listed. I think crawfords and xerd both offer things that make them superior to the others listed. I personally have read way too many horror stories about megan products in both the nissan and honda worlds. I can understand trying to bring a less expensive product to the market, but when they are breaking and falling apart then there's no excuse to not fix the design or the process for making them. If you want to see real headers, check out 350-evo's concept header:
long tube, true merge collector (just this alone is worth it), and as with any of their other products, you know it would have been a solid product that would stand the test of time.
