This thread definitely helped me understand more about MREV2+Spacer.
Thanks for all the info Hydrazine.
I am looking at purchasing the combo for my 06 Z by summer.

Motordyne is not angled for constant air velocity in the plenum (which is good from a dynamic pressure perspective).
Motordyne is not angled and allows for the bolts of the upper plenum to go straight into aluminum threads of the lower plenum.
Motordyne comes with six plenum post internal supports which IMO is very important to maintain. This maintains plenum structural integrity and also reduces upper plenum vibration. The cyclic pressure pulsing (implosions) inside the plenum are Violent!
Motordyne is also available in Iso Thermal which is good for another 1-2 HP in addition to the baseline gain.
Motordyne uses thick compliant gaskets that are bonded to the aluminum spacer. This makes installation easier because you don't have to align 3 separate layers of gasket/spacer/gasket while putting in the bolts.
We previously used the same thin metal stock gaskets but these thin metal gaskets were easily damaged or bent during installation increasing the potential for a vacume leak. Motordynes new gasket design eliminates several problems at once.

Motordyne spacers also have a grit blast finish making them stealthy and not easily seen. This may or may not be an advantage to you depending on your priorities.

heh, Tony said it all right there!
Along with that, Motordyne provides exceptional quality and fitment, detailed installation instructions and all parts and hardware you'd require, and outstanding customer service - basically everything you'd come to expect from a manufacturer of performance parts for a car of the caliber of a 350Z and G35!
