It all depends on which brand of headers you are trying to install...(DC Sports, Nismo, Crawfords...etc...) Here is a PDF file on how to install Crawford headers.

here's a few different sites I used for my install:

(w/ pics)
http://www.zchickz.com/header1.htm

(no pics - insert "*********" for the "*****" )
http://www.*********.com/zwiki/Header_Installation

my quick write-up:
https://my350z.com/forum/intake-exhaust/235848-strup-header-and-aam-tp-home-install-pics.html

hope that helps! I highly rec'd getting the headers coated - my engine bay temps didn't increase, and may have actually gone down.

good luck and have fun!

Oppps I posted in the wrong spot. Anyway, I just recenlty purchased the top speed headers which look to be the same as strups. Think that I can expect similar power gains from them? And also how much is Jet coating and where could you get that done at? TIA
