Default How will these sound??

how will the stock exhaust sound with test pipes, i already have a pop charger and will be getting plenum spacer pretty soon. My concern is how will the exhaust sound if there will be any rasp, if so at what rpm range?? also with the mods im going for will it give some lost of torque?

test pipes = rasp to some degree...tends to be in the mid rpm range. How much depends on the test pipe you do, and how much they lean your car out(different for everyone's car).

The stock exhuast sounds good with the tesp pipes. But since you got the rev-up model it would be better if you got the MREV2 + Plenum Spacer combo. And with the Pop Charger also. I think you will like the results.

its not too raspy, i have stillen non resonated test pipes on stock exhaust, and the only hint of rasp i get is right around 3 to 3700 rpm. i think that it sounds pretty good. you cant hear the rasp outside the car tho... sounds like an amplified stock exhaust.

The stock exhaust sounds good with test pipes. It's definitely louder, and sounds pretty mean. The only thing is that you'll get a little hissing noise around 2000 RPM on deceleration in gear, which to me sounded crappy. Other than that though, it sounds great.

non-resonated = rasp
resonated = no rasp

It is that easy.

Hey Shift_Z33, are you saying your Strup non-res TP's didn't have rasp with the stock exhaust? If you're aftermarket, which are you running?
