i got them from an authorized distributor Adam at Z1auto.com and is a sponsor of this site for a great price. They're great and turboXS said they'll replace it but I have to send a unit to them first. Adam is helping me out trying to get me a set so I don't have to pay labor to take them on and off a million of times -- now thats customer service!

sucks, I've got a set here I haven't installed yet.

Hope this is an isolated incident since I havent heard much about TXS tp's cracking.

Kinda makes me wonder if I should not attach that bracket, since most tp's dont have them.

If you dont attach the bracket the rest of your exhaust will probably break.

I have had my Turbo XS test pipes since Oct. and no cracks. The bracket is only there to give the heavy a$$ stock cat's support, I fill you don't need the bracket when using test pipes, which are very light compared to the stock cat's, but I could be wrong. I hope this helps.

if u attach the bracket, DONT force it into place. Also, only use the bracket if you have a Y pipe with a flex joint. I dont have either, but my test pipe has no welds that can crack, so im safe.

So youre saying if I dont have flex joints...dont attach the bracket? I have the old school injen which doesnt have the flex joints and have been looking in to getting test pipes. But I wasnt sure whether or not to get the ones with brackets or without.
