Default come here if you want to reduce exhaust sound

That's it

The APEXi Dynamic Electronic Control System (DECS) is an improved version of APEXi’s Exhaust Control Valve (ECV). It allows the user to gain complete control over exhaust decibel levels through a remotely mounted control module. With a touch of a button, the user can electronically modify a spring loaded butterfly fitted into the main piping of an exhaust system. The DECS was created as an alternative to standard silencers and allows the user to fine tune an exhaust system to fit his needs.

Reference: APEXi Dynamic Electronic Control System, APEXi Electronic Control System, APEXi DECS, APEXi DECS Silencer

Product Notes: Nissan Type-A, Flange Type (Right) ***Use with P/N: 432-A002

Application: Apexi DECS Exhaust Control Valve Nissan Type A
Pipe Size: 67mm.

does any one tried this before it helps controlling the exhaust sound
as you control your sound recorder ( low or high ) by only botton

my question
i had Injen exhaust true dual Ti (( 60 mm ))
and this is for 67 mm pipes

any one know from where can i get one for 60mm pipes ??

no one needs one of those unless ur possibly running a turbo.

Turbo cars are quieter . . .

Unless you're in my car. My car is freakishly loud even with Turbos . . . . .

Wouldn't this create a huge bottleneck in the exhaust thereby eliminating any gains from having an aftermarket exhaust in the first place? I guess you'd have to go through a whole procedure to get your car "race ready" - turn the flux capacitor on, open the butterfly valve... etc

Hmmm I've heard that some cars have a special muffler and/or exhaust systems that have a valve that open up at certain pressure levels and/or rpms. I guess you could rig this up some how but now that i look at it, it really looks like one of those electric dumps. I guess you could use it to bypass the exhaust system if you have a turbo?
