im suppose to go tommorow to get my nismo 3 piece exhaust installed but not sure if i want it now because now im considering spending a little more and just getting the hks hi power or injen but also considering if these will void my warranty any suggestions

 

I read this post and your identical post in another forum. You really need to do some searching before posting this stuff.

 

My dealer said that I can use any cat back exhaust system, They said anything else can ruin my extended warrenty, get the HKS hi power one, I heard from others that it is an awsome system

 

I'm running an Injen SES Ti exhaust and am happy with it, except there is still a minor drone in the lower mid-range... if I remember correctly (in storage for another 3 weeks )

I went with the Injen because it was considerably cheaper. In hindsight, I probably should have spent the extra $$$ and got the HKS.

 

hks is awesome, sounds super sexy and had no drone while cruising

 

Off topic, but I am guessing you skipped all your grammar classes.

 

The only warranty you lose is any warranty on your stock exhaust cause hell the dealer isnt gonna replace a HKS catback system lol be nice if they do stuff like that but thats only in dreams haha. Ive heard the HKS sounds nice. Though if your willin to spend the extra cash the JIC sounds sick nasty.

I got my Injen SES installed by my Nissan Dealer with no warranty issues. Grat system but not as good as HKS, but then again not as expensive either!

 

No exhaust when installed correctly should void any warranty.

the only way a warranty for a car or part of a car can be void, is if the new part is the DIRECT CAUSE of the issue.

with this being said, if you have oil consumption down the road (god forbid, just an example), the exhaust cannot be the culprit etc....
