Injen S.SES Tit Vs HKS Hi power Tit
*********************
Direct to the Point
is it worth paying more 500 $
for This HKS Titanium Tips
vs
Injen 1986TT Titanium tips

HKS = 60 mm piping
Injen = 60 mm Piping
HKS = Titanium Tips
Injen = Titanium tips
HKS = H Pipe
Injen = H Pipe
HKS = Stainless Steel
Injen = Stainless Steel
HKS = 1500 $
Injen= 1000 $
that mean 1 full injen = only passenger side of HKs + partial pipe
my question to those who has Injen (( only the new one 1986TT ))
and HKs owners
is it worth to pay 500$ more for exactly same specification
only the brand diff ??
* Does Injen has a bad quality to be in this price (( in comparative to HKS ))
or HKS is over Priced ??
as said in some thread
350z is poors Porcshe
Does Injen Poors Hks ??
or it's a perfect substitute ??
Note:
i will not go FI in the future
and my car is 06 and has only some bolts on (( headers < HFC <MREV2 < 5/16 ps )

hks isn't 1500$, more like around 1300 shipped, hks has the extra canisters so it will sound different, i hate that style of exhaust connection on the injen muffler section.., im not a big fan of injen cause im kinda a jdm *****

I love the sound of the HKS but make sure you get one that has been on the shelve for a while. I am told all the latest lot HKS exhausts are experiencing quality issues. The one I bought has been returned to HKS. Now going with Stillen.

The injen sounds good and so does the HKS. Both of my friends have one with straight pipes. Its a matter of preference. Ive heard both w/o straight pipes, and the injen is a little louder. With straight pipes they're both loud.
I don't think it is @ all. The new Injen is very nice and has shown nice gains on the cars we've dynoed with it. The HKS is a nice exhaust as well and I guess some people want the name. That's cool, it's their car. Also shows about the same gains on the dyno. Welding on the HKS is sometimes suspect though which really surprised me, very messy.

its going to be a hard choice. i rather pay less for a great product like injen. i personaly would go with the injen. i have the regular SES not the track edition and i like it better than my friends HKS.
i have yet to see anyone produce and hp thats any better then anything else with a hks exhaust to justify anything , i honestly would prefer Fast intentions if your gonna spend money and if ur rich amuse ti .But between injen and hks u pay for sound there is nothing else really that would jusitify the extra expense other then sound chambers lmao.

that said, the first gen Injen is about the worst sounding POS I have ever heard. I am sure this titanium tipped version with the H-pipe will sound much better. Either way, I would hear both in person before making a purchase
you can't judge the sound of an exhaust by having the car parked and revving the engine, you gotta get in and take it for a spin, i agree my exhaust is nothing talk about when it is just parked and revving the engine, but getting in and going WOT through the gears is nicee
