Default Getting a new exhaust system

Im replacing my topspeed 3 inch exhaust with a Jic Magic Spartan Single
Im going with the full stainless. Im also going with test pipes. My question is the topspeed test pipes say that they will not cause a cel light/ service light. Is this true, or do I need to get the non foulers for them. Also are they any good, or should I just get the turbo xs cat delete/ test pipes? Im going with a fully resonated setup, the exhaust will be, as well as the test pipes. Will this have much rasp, and will it be hella loud. My real question is do I need non foulers for the top speed test pipes, and are they any good.

Test pipes are really a generic prodcut for the 350z. Stick with the big names for quality and you should be good.

All test pipes even resonated will give you a CEL light, so you do need the non-foulers, which are very easy to install.

From my experience and what I've heard the resonated test pipes and regular test pipes really dont make a big difference in sound or raspiness.

If you had a pic of the test pipes in question, it may be easier to judge. But in general, non-foulers are a good idea if you simply cannot have the CEL on the dash.

Is that guarantee in writing? Didn’t think so. Go the extra mile and add non-foulers.

you can go to your local auto part store and get the non-foulers. They are call just like that. They come in different sizes also. I don't remember what size is required for TP. May be some one else can tell.

PN42005 or 42009. Help! non-foulers.

Sticking with a 'big name' for quality is, in my opinion, a waste of money. Test pipes are some of the simplest aftermarket parts available for the Z. I bought Topspeed test pipes for 85 bucks, brand new, and the quality on them is actually very good. The most expensive doesn't always equal the best...
