hey guys/gals,

I have a killer deal on some DC headers but have heard that the 06 will have problems with installing headers because of the steering.I did a search but found nothing.Any help or suggestions would be appriciated. So is it true?

I personally have not heard anything like that, but take that with a grain of salt.

What kind of deal did you get?

I haven't heard of any problems with a left hand steering column (LHD) Z accepting left hand steering column (LHD) headers... As long as they're designed for a Z.

Right hand steering column (RHD) headers will not fit on left hand steering column (LHD) Z's though... Ha! Try saying that three times fast! :-)

So - You'll need to know which set your friend is selling...

Contact a DC vendor and ask.

Excellent question, unfortunately I don't know the answer, but here's a free bump for you.

I have personally put a set of DC headers on an 06 rev-up Z. They fit fine. At the same time I was installing a Stillen S/C and a NISMO cat-back.

Where they DC headers? First I've heard of this on any rev-up. Maybe it was the Crawford or Xerd headers. They are a bit more difficult to install.

the fitment issue is because its a Megan product - par for the course replicas are concerned, no matter what product its based off of originally

the DC's fit straight away, 0 issues
