with your budget on headers you are very far off from ever having an ls swap

whats the point if im not looking to make power? 12hp and tq for an extra 600$ not a great money to power. if I wanted that a zex kit would fill in the gap and make more off it.
honestly id be happy with oem, I just have a hard time puying something just buy looking at a few pics over the internet. I know stillen makes great products. I live in mn the roads are not nice to cars. im just want to see what people have and how well they hold up.
I looked at ppe. If I was going to build my de motor and run a blower yeah id buy them. I just want to drive it and not have to chop my o2s to make it work.

i am not bickering, i am stating the facts. if you are going through the trouble to swap the headers you might as well go big. have you ever tried to change or look up the labor to swap the headers?? i am going to guess not

i was going off new, over used. new oem parts are crazy expensive.

Id do it myself, more the less. Yes i know its not fun at all. but its just sitting in my garage collecting dust. so a few hours here and there over a week and i should have it done. paying somebody aint an option. closest shop from my house is about 2.2 hours.

I looked and though about this for sometime now. i just want to drive it.

ppe for DE $850
https://my350z.com/forum/exhaust/600...e-headers.html

hr headers $250 (you would have to get hr cats or test pipes though)

yes, the hr y pipe fits the de and vice versa ( i sold mine to a de owner ) the only diff is the way they mount to the header, hence why you would need hr cats or test pipes

Headers are a waste of time and money.

I have crap obx headers and they need to go or I would not have bother asking what will last for about 4 years or so. smoothz knows mn salt is harsh. it shows what company actually uses good metal.

Default Ebay Exhaust

Just wondering why the "FULL" exhausts on ebay appear to be so damn cheap, and has anyone experimented with buying/installing. Some of the, look cheesy but there were a couple that looked enticing.

On another note, Since i have emissions, Im looking for a nice catback for my '06. Pref. dual. Anyone with good experiences in this area LMK! Looking for that nice Deep growl, still want to keep the Dual.

Yup.

We have nice cars, so lets buy some nice parts for them. Don't go too cheap. There's a member selling a Bassani true dual in the exhaust classifieds btw
