What you have to be on this board for 4 years to all of sudden be an expert and know everything about a new motor "once again" that only 5% of you have.

Ban me? Go for it!

I have an 07 Z and I had an 03 M3 before that. Before that I had an 04 Mustang Gt. Just because you have a new car and are new to this site (much like myself) that doesn't mean that you don't have any knowledge of mechanics or cars. is it impossible to know anything about motoring just because you are new to the Nissan community? I have been hobbying cars for many years and there is always something for everyone to learn. Everyone needs to relax a bit.

if you just posted this statement and left the butt dyno out of the thread im guessing you would not have been flamed so bad!you also should understand that skeptics are the watchdogs and if they were like the rest of the sheep we would all be driving around with turonators!its a tough crowd here but its the way it should be.btw the air box mod makes my brain hurt!

It's not even about flaming. People will NOT be willing to hack their car up unless there is verifiable proof that these free mods make power (enough so that it's worth destroying stock pieces). Word from someone coming on here with barely any time behind the wheel or under the hood of an '07 Z should be taken with a grain of salt unless he's PROVEN a performance increase. Ricer ear math and ricer butt dynos are NOT proof of power. Dyno sheets and trap speeds are. That all I asked for, and I'm sure anyone else would agree.

Holes on a intake IS A CHEAP MOD we all agree but im sure ill never do that to a spanking new 07 z at the same time does this mod even produce any type of gains? please post dyno results oh but wait, how you gonna cover up those holes for before/after tests?
