injen is known to drone the inside of the car out. I dont think you will be able to put enough sound deading material on the back end. I say go crazy with it and hope for the best.

I have Stillen gen 1 with Crawford HFC on a G sedan... it's a little loud... I have a B-Quiet matt on the trunk floorboard and it helps... they also sell thin (lighter) material that is applied with adhesive... it's similar to Dynamat but much lighter. You might want to give the product a try: www.b-quiet.com

I used a combination of products from Second Skin Audio to help tame the drone.Under the car,I pulled down the heat shield and attached a layer of Dynamat Extreme on the upper surface that is next to the hatch floor. This involves having the exhaust off in the rear, and while it was off I applied 4 layers of liquid Spectrum sound deadener under the car,all the way to the cats.I then bolted the heat shield and exhaust back on,and was done underneath. After gutting the hatch area,I applied a layer of Dampifier Pro to the floor and sides of the inner fenders, rear of hatch area, and the area under the rear windows(Dampifier is a butyl material like Dynamat Extreme only heavier). On top of that went a heavy closed cell foam(Overkill Pro),also from Second Skin.I also put this product and a more compressable version of it called Rattle Pad underneath all plastis panels in the hatch and reattached them. The end result was a much reduced drone, though not removed completely. It is now tolerable enough to drive the Z on long trips without driving you nuts.Anthony at Second Skin says that drone is the most difficult of noises to deal with, and the sandwich approach of placing the car between layers of different materials works best.Good materials are very expensive but at least my Z is ready for a sub system when I can afford to upgrade the audio.I hope this is helpful!
