Default topspeed pro

i just bought a topspeed pro n1 exhaust and i was wondering if their is any welding required to remove the stock exhaust and install the new 1? Is it completely bolt-on? How is the difficulty level from 1-10 (10 being hardest)?

No welding needed. If your doing it yourself make sure you have some WD-40... the hardest part of this whole task is getting off the stock one. Once thats off its just a few simple bolt ons. Difficulty? If its your first real mod your doing yourself maybe a 5? It is VERY simple to do.

Don't take this system to a muffler shop, do it at home & save some money. Its very simple installation, and its only an axle back exhaust system, not cat-back.

the only way the exhaust would void a warranty is if it can be PROVEN that the exhaust actually cause the damage ie: if you brakes go bad they CANT deny your warranty work because of an exhaust. install that bad boy and post a sound clip, im thinking about the n1 myself!

That all depends on what breaks and how nice your dealer is. It should not, and by certain laws - they cannot use that mod as an excuse for not repairing the car - unless there is a direct relation to the repair and it's use.

My dealer voided my warranty due to exhaust. Nissan sent me a letter, that it was voided due to aftermarket parts so yes they will void it if its a ******* dealer

its unfortunate you did not post your story when it happened because you could have gone all over their *** for doing that...i dont even know what problems you had but i am 95% it wasnt most likely caused by your exhaust so they are in violation of the law.

read plz, and thank this democrats for this law cause it still saves tons of poeple with aftermarkets parts in their cars

I had the same problem with one of my silencers. I soaked the edge of the silencer with Liquid Wrench. Let it sit a good while then attempted to pull it out with vice grips. Little by little it started to move, soaked it again, kept pulling..........voila, out she came. Persistence should work. I did damage the silencer a bit (bent the edges in) but thats easily fixable.

Oh, I think I put a small screwdriver through the holes and gently wiggled it back and forth to try and loosen the silencer as well. Be careful with this step, don't wanna damage the muffler itself.

ATTN: DO NOT FORGET exhaust sealant....put it all over your gaskets and the joints... the last thing you want on your first exhaust mod is a leaky exhaust that throws a code on your Z....
