Default What to upgrade?

Alright guys, I have a totally stock 35th anniversary Z. It has no mods at all. I am thinking about starting to mod it. But what would you guys do first? I have heard lots of people say CAI or SRI or maybe an Exhaust...I honestly don't have a clue.

2 posts I would highly recommend reading before doing any modding are here:

https://my350z.com/forum/intake-exhaust/261870-intake-exhaust-rules-faq-you-must-read-before-posting-updated-5-21-07-a.html

https://my350z.com/forum/intake-exhaust/273703-finally-answered-what-is-the-best-__________-intake-exhaust-headers-etc.html

There are a lot of very knowledgable guys and girls on this forum that can help you with more specific questions, but your post is WAYYYYYY to generalized for anyone to help you.

You don't give long range goals, short range goals, budget, preferences. As for intake and exhaust, you need to do a little research and decide what YOU want because the gains from these 2 mods are minimal and equal enough across the board that it comes down to personal preference in terms of looks and sound.

Hey, as you may have already read, this wasn't the best post.

However, I will help you out...

Intake (CAI or JWT Popcharger)
Plenum Spacer (03-06 Z)
True Dual Exhaust
Brake Upgrade

CAI is not a brand, but you already know that, right?

As was posted above you don't give much information with which to assit you however I will give my 2c. IF you are thinking of going F/I I would suggest you hold off buying things that will HAVe to be replaced once you have the F/I system installed. Things such as cold air intakes. Things you can buy would be a plenum spacer & oil catch can.

Quit bagging on the new guy. When you're new to the forum (or forums period) your first inclination is to ask a question. Just tell the guy to search and quit being a bunch of forum douche bags.

Here's how I would do it

1. Tint
2. Drop (springs or coilovers)
3. Wheels
4. Exhaust + HFC or Testpipes
5. Intake
6. Front lip
7. Body kit
8. FI

You say quit bagging but thats not much help either.

How is the guy supposed to know what a MD 5/16 Iso is in your sig? I'm sure a lot of us already do, but I doubt he does ifhe isn't sure what to do at all.
