Sounds good. It's short though. Any sound clips redlining first?

It does sound like it's a bit far from the microphone.

I saw the other clips and the SES sounds much deeper. I couldn't watch the video, only sound .

It is far from the microphone. I had to turn my comp monitor around out the window.

If people want this exhaust, you'll just have to buy it, see it and hear it for yourself. When I first watched/heard the clips from Injen's website, I wasn't digging it. But once failsaf3 installed it on his car, it made me realize that this is the exhaust I want (plus it's a true dual system). I could care less about the angled look because the tips utilize the existing cutouts and the car is low enough to hide the angles. Trust me, it looks nothing like what some Honduhs have.

VQ, this is exactly what I look like after hearing those clips

The car sounds SICK!! I was waiting to hear the Injen exuast on my buddy's Track model, but he got the Tanabe instead for now (which I'll try and get clips for soon, sounds very good). Although he's gonna swap for an Injen soon, I'm pretty much decided on this exhaust.

One thing though, is it a true dual if it goes into one muffler? I wouldn't think so, but I could be wrong.

Borla is less expensive, but seems to perform very well. The main thing I didn't like about the Borla is the stock looking muffler, clamps instead of flanges to connect the pipes, dual pipes going into one muffler and and the entire exhaust is unfinished. I like the performance results, but it doesn't have the looks I want.

The Injen is about $150 more, but sounds much meaner. It has 2 angled mufflers instead of one (true dual IMO), flanges to connect the pipes instead of clamps, and a fully polished system. Only one Z owner has dynoed 20+hp so far, same with the Borla though.

Check out the pictures, listen to sound clips, shop around and you decide.

To each their own, just as long as the Z is making more power

That's what makes the Borla look cheap. The clamps look like homemade quality.

Yeah I agree, it's also why the system is cheaper.

I'm not bashing the Borla, just stating why I don't like it, and what the differences were between the two.

If you want to hear a longer clip, go to Injen's website. They have a sound clip with the car on the dyno.

When I first heard it, I was like "Wow."

Talking ahhh, the sound of riceless exaust

That sounded great!!! if The hp increase #'s are what they say they are, then it's the perfect setup, because you get power, and a nice backround tone to cruise to! thanks for the clips!!!!
