I bought the cxlighting exh 3 weeks ago and the sound is great. The fitment was good and is much lighter than stock. i would recommend it for only 470 wt shipping .

 

WTX whats the part number of the magnaflow x pipe u went with? And why did u go with that 1 instead of the smaller 1 gothchick used for her HKS? And umm wheres the piks of underneath lol

 

14386 is the PN. let me see if I can find the comparison schematics of the 14379 (smaller) and the 14386 (longer). ok on the prev page I posted the schematic of my muffler....but looks like I trashed the one of the smaller muffler. I'll check my work computer as well.

basically the shorter one isn't an x pipe...its just perforated tubes that run inside the same canister...where as the longer version has a true x pipe inside.

Oops forgot all about the underside pics. I'll do my best to remember today after work.

I believe gothchick actually didn't use a magnaflow muffler...she just had a "custom x pipe" fitted to the front section of her HKS

Its nowhere near as pretty as the rest of the setup....welders around here aren't concerned w/ pretty....damn them! Pics to come once work lets me leave.

 

i just ordered a cxlighting one as well... and i went ahead and ordered the topspeed 100% titanium tips.. im just gonna mount them first instead of messing with the crappy ones.. anyone know what i can spray the exhaust with to keep it nice looking?>

Hey try this product..http://www.caswellplating.com/vht/vhtclear.htm I had a member recommend it..Looks like a winner. I'll be spraying the front part of my CX lighting exhaust with this stuff, I'm getting the rear section Jet Hot coated in black. The coating was a lil expensive thats why I chose to have the rear (exposed) section coated. I"ll be doing a bumper tuck as well, and I'll be sure to post pics once I have everything installed. Just shipped it off yesterday so I should have it by next week at the earliest.

Here it is Magnaflow resonated x pipe replaced everything from front of the h pipe to the back of the resonators (actually had to remove the large flange).






oh, I didn't wash or wax the exhaust first...sorry for that.
