Whole exhaust. Was looking at the greddy muffler but what's the point just doing a muffler instead of going true duels. This is only gonna be short term bc once I get a DD I'm going to go FI and do everything proper

What ebay system are you specifically looking at? I have a brand new. I went turbo last year and installed a e-cutout with the stock exhaust instead.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/2002-2006-Cat-back-Exhaust-Nissan-350Z-VQ35GE-03-04-05-06-G35-/121164139333?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&fits=Model%3A350Z&hash=item1c35f20b45&vxp=mtr
(minus the gaskets/bolts since I stole them) I'll get it to you for $120 shipped

Ill post the pic when I get out of work but I'm looking at the "HKS replica" but by the company Godspeed... I heard its a little bit quiter than the topspeed but there are also ones that just say "replica exhaust" no actually company that I was going to stay away from heard some people have figment issues and some sound good some sound terrible. Either way I'm adding the magna flow x pipe right off the bat

This is it but there's many different sellers if someone got this and had no problems with good sound I would use the same seller

Default 2.5 vs 2.25 replica exhaust on stock cats

Hey guys I'm trying to pull the trigger on one of these today. I've searched but every post I see peeps have test pipes or high flow cats. I'm going to get a replica (don't flame it's not permanent and I need a quick cheap fix). The real HKS is 2.25 the brand Godspeed which I was going to go with is 2.5. Am I going to lose anything on the low end from loss of back pressure or is the 2.25 really not enough to make a difference? I do have a pop charger may go with a spacer but that's it for now bc I'm going FI by next summer.

Also is there any difference between this two systems? One is Godspeed which is a replica brand at least the other is just a replica of the replica I guess but 100$ cheaper. Which do you guys think I should go with? Also I've seen the no name brand come in 2.25.
Thanks!!

I'm really pissed that I wasted my money on the replica. You get what you pay for. If you lived closer, I would sell you mine.

But if it's a quick fix for you, then go for it. The problem is that you never know if you're going to get a decent system or one that may have been put together by someone having a bad day. My passenger side muffler rattles due to a loose pipe inside it.

Thanks for the reply, I hear ya on not really knowing if its quality or not that's why I'd like to find someone on here that had good luck with a particular seller but in reality it probably doesn't even matter.

I'm on the fence about going 2.25 complete knock off or 2.5 Godspeed which is a knock off but an actual company that makes other crappy knock off parts lol the real HKS is 2.25 so I'm guessing it keeps the back pressure.

Also this is the x pipe that I've seen people use its resonated I don't think the one you got is
And I've seen many people use it and its a straight fix

Ok I installed this replica exhaust yesterday. Omg was the stock one a pita to get out. That took the most time. Install was pretty straight forward and the new system went in easy, I did one side at a time. I did have one problem once I was done....the left side muffle pipe sits lower than the right. So I have I bring it to an exhaust shop and get them to cut and re weld the hangar on one of the sides. Slight exhaust leak from not tight enough bolt but was easily fixed. I like the sound. Sounds more like a race car......overall as far as replicas go, I'd give it a B.

Thanks for the update!! That seller just got another customer and you saved me 100 bucks. I hear most people having a problem with the hanger, I think people may bend it themselves... I'm going to add the resonated magnaflow xpipe also to bring back the VQ sounds and kill any rasp may consider that also before you go to the exhaust shop too. Any chance of a sound clip?

Maybe I can later, Easter and all. What's fun is I can't tell which side I like better, the lower one or the higher one... And u can't tell from stAnding back there, u really have to crouch down to see the difference... But I still will fix one of the sides

Those hangars are hard as hell to bend. You'd need a table vice and a blow torch. lol

Trust me, I did that yesterday thinking it would work. It doesn't. The flanges are POS and don't line up very well, so the exhaust doesn't hang perfectly straight like.

With that being said, these exhausts are alright for the money. I do like the sound for the most part, but mine was faulty from the get go. I seriously want something else now.

Default Hks catback replica rasp

Hi I bought some cheapo exhaust online a year ago and the rasp is so bad I'm ashamed to take off fast. I've heard of the magnaflow x pipe helping but also that it didn't. Some say the magnaflow x pipe muffler. I'm confused and I want some understanding. I don't have test pipes just catback exhaust

Magnaflow muffler x pipe is what most people use, you could also grab some Vibrant resonators.
