I actually don't mind how it looks from behind there which is why I am thinking of this.

Where I am, I get a lot of snow. So I am thinking I might buy that cheap exhaust but then getting actual titanium tips (no idea how much) and getting a high temp coating (again no idea how much), it's gonna end up being a lot more than I want. Plus I would still have to worry about rusting and all that cause of all the snow/gravel we get and I drive it in winter too. If I were to do all this I might as well get the Invidia N1 true dual, I won't have to bother with coating and all that.

But, the above videos seems like a lot cheaper/less headache of a way to get the result I want.

high temp spray can clear is like 9 bucks from any auto shop..kragen, o'Reilly etc. 1 can more than enough.

just spray it yourself, clean the exhaust and spray it on..dries to clear ( this is just added protection)

Top speed sells nice titanium tips.. use the 4.5 inch version and ur set. You do not have to buy tips immediate..I have my originals for 2 years and still looks OK. Titanium tips are 100$ a set compared to 220 from HKS

Here is a video of my set -up stock cats then..after the X02 install.

If so, I can always not get that part installed and only the rest done.

Although I am assuming since it's a CATBACK exhaust system. The parts only start after your stock cats, so getting everything installed that it comes with should not replace your stock cats. Just want to confirm to make sure.

Thanks guys!
Catback is after cat...uses stock cats....GL

The price is decent enough compared the same one's being sold for over $500 (Godspeed) and as you guys mentioned they sound good too. Should be okay right?

Thanks
For $300?? It's polished 304SS too. Go for it.

X02 is no longer made new. However, they're all basically the same design, as long as you get good material and the welds are decent - at the end of the day, it's just pipes. The true HKS looks nice because of the cannister cap design and and the design of the bends vs the knock offs. I think that it is also going to fit better in most cases. However, I got the X02 because my car used to be very low and I just didn't see banging up an expensive exhaust when I was happy with the sound, quality, and design of the knock off.

A few notes from my personal experience - Make the assumption that you'll want to have a muffler shop correct for fitment. You will want to buy genuine titanium tips $50-$80 each within a year if your car sees ongoing humidity or bad weather. Once you have the real titanium tips, you'll be much happier with the look and ongoing maintenance. If you buy used, check all weld areas for rust also make sure that you use new gaskets every time that you disconnect. Mine is horrible about exhaust leaks if I don't use a new gasket every time, because the fitment isn't perfect (it will reseat slightly differently each time it's put back together).

So which seller on eBay is most likely the best one to buy from? I see there are several sellers that carry these now from around $300 shipped all the way up to $500 something shipped.... whats the differences?

it was called like Zspeed performance id have to check the ebay account. but shipped in under a week came with hardware and gaskets and the tips looked great. 1 side does hang a lil higher then the other so im gonna heat the hanger today and level them out. but i will prob do the X pipe eventually sounds good even w non res test pipes. oh and i looked down into my H pipe and it deff does not have the tiny hole the others have reported. it seemed to be close or exactly the diameter of the pipe which crosses the 2 exhaust.

Default Ebay Exhaust (I searched) Zspeedstarz

Ok so yes, I know alot of people don't like Ebay exhausts for many reasons. I have searched extensively, and the main problem I have seen with HKS knock-offs (x02 and Godspeed) is the lower quality stainless steel (T403 I believe) that rusts.

I just found this exhaust ( http://www.ebay.com/itm/FAIRLDAY-Z-V...item3cc443e9d9 )

That claims to be made of T304, which is the same stainless steel used in the real HKS exhaust. I tried searching, but it seems to be a relatively new exhaust.

Anybody heard of them or know anything?

If you search the other thread you will notice that tons of people have not had issues with rusting, its a common misconception

I have never heard of this company but I will almost bet it's the exact same exhaust as the other ones on ebay

none of the ebay exhausts are T304. even if the seller says they are, they're not. all of them come from the same factory in china.

I had one of those... The price is good, the piping is not the best quality stainless, the bracket are steel so they rust... And it is a pain to install, they are definitly not bolt on, had to cut and reweld mine But it was worth it for the price in my opinion.

The tips will definitly change color and be pretty ugly. But it's not that bad for a 300$ exhaust. Oh and I must say that it is pretty heavy too...
