I only have the slide-on titanium tips.

You could get those, then slide them off each time to clean them.

LMK....

We do not sell just the replacement stainless steel tips like the ones that came on the exhaust. It would be these that slide over the ones already on there:

Default avoid rolling the dice and CX Racing/lighting

i got my kit it looked nice but didnt fit. the Y pipe was way to narrow as seen here
http://imgur.com/ff9RI
I called their "customer support" to try and get the Y pipe switched out. Kevin Xie is the owner this was his reply to the pic i sent and why it wont fit
is because it wasnt flipped properly. Trying to speak logic to him that it didnt fit was a waste of time. so was speaking with "Ace" (which he is not) about the issue.

so i had to spend another $290 to get a custom fitment to match the rest of the kit.

these guys couldnt give to ***** about their customers and if you buy from them you are chancing what i just went through with them.

here is a pic of the complete kit

Nice use of your fat stacks to show the width of the y-pipe. Sucks that you got unlucky. I tried out the replica kit and it fit perfectly, just crappy sound/mufflers.

i ordered mine for about 250 plus 95 shipping ... m2 performance had it on for about almost 2 months using with the MD xyz pipe( had the shop custom add flanges to a transition y pipe) works and sounds great so far so good..... i dont know how it will sound with the h pipe it comes with but most people like to replace it with a magnaflow X pipe.... id say go for it only reason i chose M2 is because its a sister company to megan.... plus did some HW and seen alot of nightmare stories with cxracing....

+1 on that, i get compliments on my exhaust all the time with test pipes and headers, to me i could hear the rasp after i put the tp in but plan on fixing that with the magnaflow x pipe. personally its a fine exhaust but they cut corners in the resonators and H pipe. for an extra 100$ though, still less than a third of the price of a new True HKS exhaust

Bump!
Didn't want to create a new thread.

Just got the Replica HKS yesterday. 260 free shipping. Couldn't resist.

Doesn't have an H pipe like some others I've seen.

For the X-pipe mod I believe you replace the resonators right after the cats and put it there? I'm getting confusing answers. Some say The magnaflow x pipe bring the VQ sound back and less drone. but does it reduce the actual decibel in sound?
Fitment was alright. I got what I paid for though. Sounds like a fart can.

+Wouldn't removing the resonators for an x pipe make it louder? I'm so confused.

I did search. I searched for hours. The answers I got were all different.
Ignorant of you to automatically assume.

Answers I've seen were
- X pipe makes it louder.
- X pipe makes it quieter.
- X pipe makes less drone but more rasp
- X pipe makes less drone less rasp

All on the same setup. HKS replica with X pipe mod. (Magnaflow)

Most of the problems in every car has a search. Not like any post will have something new that someone else hasn't tried. What's the point of having a community help you out if you're going to tell someone to search.

And this is the reason why people leave the forums or critic about this forum on others... Come on people, be more supportive
