Default N/A VQ35 Mod after Mod WHP expectancy

Look, I know there are threads about what's the best this or that part, but is there a thread that compiles a N/A Mod list one after another? I'm talking expected gains after each mod...etc. Now, I understand that dynos read differently as in the Hub-dyno I used to reach my number, but an idea for anyone who wants to stay N/A, instead of boosting. If there is a link, please provide below and we can delete this, if not, this needs to be a sticky. I have searched and searched, but there really isn't a thread that breaks it down mod after mod. Thanks in advance.

Maybe I should have specified proven gains. I'm not wanting....

JWT intake + 5whp
JWT cams + 15whp

that makes 20whp....blah blah

That's my mistake. I'm wanting members to post what they have and what they dynoed all n/a and listing their mods to give other members an idea of what they need to do to make those similar numbers.

each mod changes another mods output. Some may support it, some may pretty much cancel out your gains or even make it lose power. Just do what makes you happy.

You can use Stillen's ricer math in their catalogue.

I agree, like a CBE may say it will add 15whp, but in the small print: recommended use with intake, headers and hfc or something along those lines.

Give it up, it's a lost cause. Too many variables on each car, the dynos can be made to read just about anything, throw in an unscrupulous operator, and you have absolutely useless results. And what you're trying to discern sometimes is fractional percentage values. You may get data, but it will probably be worthless, and at the very least misleading. If you're serious about this, you would need to establish a whole lot of rules, which IMHO is not worth the effort.

Who has the money to dyno before and after each mod? Ridiculous.

What have you dynoed with your mods?

And.....what I was referring to was ex:

These are my mods and this is what this dyno said I made at the wheels?

hmm. Well for what it's worth check out my thread here:

https://my350z.com/forum/engine-and-drivetrain/327179-dyno-w-vid.html

'05 G35 coupe (6 m/t--"rev up")

Dynojet
1st dyno-power mod's: MD 5/16 iso spacer, MD MREV2, Z tube, Nismo drop in filter (no tune):
251.8 whp, 233.4 lb torque

2nd dyno-power mod's: ARC intake, Amuse titan intake tube, MD 5/16 iso spacer, MD MREV2, Nismo Headers )jet-hot coated), Power Enterprise HFC (metallic 400 cell), Tanabe y pipe, Amuse titan r1 exhaust, UR lightweight pulley set (stock size) (Technosquare reflash):
261.3 whp, 245.2 lb torque

Not that great of a max increase--but note the area under the torque curve from 3500-5500--me likes for DD--this is really where I have felt a difference with the additional breather mod's--it pulls nicely now in this rpm range--Still would like some more hp up top though.

I will be doing another dyno on the same dynojet after I receive and install the Cosworth plenum and Hondate gasket.

Then I'll switch over to GRD and the DD for tune when I can get my hands on a HKS GT supercharger

I never had a dyno test. The only testing that matters to me is the dragstrip.

You just confirmed my point. Was this on the same dyno, with the same settings, environmental parameters, etc...? So you gained ~10hp/torque, which is about 4%, but under unstated conditions which may very well have affected the results. And your clarification about the area under the curve is well stated. That information would be lost were we to just post peak values. It will be complicated and of dubious value, but having said that, I say go for it! It can't hurt.

EVERY car is different, EVERY dyno is different, and mods will change the output of other mods you've already done. Impossible compilation.
