Heard from Julian yesterday. My T-XS should be here on the 20th too. With luck, bodyshop will finish my car as expected, this weekend.

Got my exhaust today and some info:

The pipes visible from the back within the tips are silencers and are easily removable with a wrench and allen key.

The exhaust fits fine with the Hotchkis sway bars on my '07. No clearance issues.

I had plenty of clearance on the black undercarriage brace, although I had lowered this previously with some washers.

I have Berks high flow cats and the exhaust without the silencers is, how should I put it, LOUD!! Definitely a little rasp even with the HFCs. I put the silencers in and it definitely mellows the sound, I am going to leave them out for a while to see how I like it.

Overall a very nicely constructed piece. I tend to change out exhausts quite a bit on my cars (have had Nismo with stock cats, HKS Dual with/without HFCs, and of course stock on the Z). The worst part of the install is the damn rubber hangers... a good shot of silicone spray helps the exhaust slide right on .

I am quite busy this week but will try to get some pics up if I can.

Why did you change from HKS to the TurbXS exhaust? Did you not like the HKS or something?

The HKS is an excellent piece, really sounds nice with the HFC's with no rasp. I was just looking for a different tone. No other reason. In fact I'll keep the HKS because I may end up reinstalling it at some point in the future . For now I'm gonna drive with this TurboXS for a while and see how I like it.

Had mine installed this weekend along with a Greddy catch can. Julian tuned my UTEC after the install and I gained 10hp. I'll see if I can find a scanner to post the before and after #'s

I hope you know that the Nismo is not a true dual exhaust system.

Correct. They were late to the market with it, and did not have much interest in it, despite the killer performance and sound..
