Default New exhaust, what's ringing?

I have a video clip of before and the right after exhaust install. Note in vid sound of a resonating ring after a hit on throttle. ?!?! Weird! Any ideas? I searched this and see no one posting similar issues.

Keep in mind this is a $99 throw in your glove box, poor resolution (vid and audio) crappy camera. Either way you can hear the ringing sound. If I come from 5K rpm or 3K rpm it still is around 2800 rpm that ring chimes in.
P.S. the turbonetics header charge pipes are bound to change the sound....

Are you sure it isn't high-pitched rasp?

Man, I'll have to say that sounds like a ringing that even carries on after it's down to idle. Not to mention the legalis isn't raspy at all. This on has got me stumped. I'd like to put in F.I. forums...but I'll get chewed up and spit out there!

It is resting pretty solid on the rear cross brace in front of the rear axle....I just don't know how that could cause it though. Sounds like that emergency test you hear on T.V., very high pitch and it happens only coming down from high rpm and starts at about 2800rpm and is gone at about 2500rpm.
Very weird...

My bet is it is hitting the rear sway bar. Do you have upgraded sways? It needs at least a 1/4" to 1/2" clearance to allow for exhaust vibration...

Stock Sways...again the only thing it's touching is the rear cross member. However it is real solid, seems like in order to ring it would have to tap the support....oh well, thanks for all the input!

My DC Sports Stainless connects with the rear sway, and I have stockers.
This sounds likely given the similarities.

i've had problems with one of the rear mounts vibrating against a poorly postioned exhaust hanger. It was pushing up against the metal bracket that holds the rubber garmount in place that you slide the exhaust hanger into. I had to cut out a section of the metal bracket to allow clearance for the exhaust hanger. (after trying to tweak the exhaust hanger and having it snap off/reweld it )

Hmmmmm, Well this the Fujitsubo Legalis. It is an optional upgrade from the dealer in Japan. It is a direct replacment. If it's not the cat back pipe resting on the cross member, then it is not hitting anywhere. I suppose this doesnt have to be exhaust at all. Hell when this turbo went bad, the compressor blades where lightly brushing against the housing. It COULD be anything. I have a half eaten Little Debbie Nutty bar to whomever figures this out!
