Arrow Does the INJEN exhuast come in straight tips or just angled tips?

I was wondering if they make the Injen exhaust with tips that come straight out instead of angled out?

I read earlier on the board that Injen said they were going to but I think that idea got round-filed. I was wondering how much work would it be too have the exhaust cut, and rewelded for straight tips. The only downside I could see is poss. a performance loss due to an extra bend (which is why I think it is the way it is) But I'm no exhaust expert (soundwaves and backpressure) so maybe some exhaust gurus have a little insight on this..

Wink

you took the question right out of my head.
ive been holding off because im not sure on the angled tips.
would love to see more pixs of the injen exhaust. ive even thought of cutting and adding to make the pipes come out straight. i cant beleive it would lose any power.

I'm with you guys. That would be the exhaust I would get, but I just can't get past the angled pipes. They should atleast offer a straight pipe

Slightly OT, but I saw the Injen SES system on the highway yesterday, and It looks really badass in person! I would still never buy it because of the photo I saw where it burned the back panel of the car, but it definitely looks better in person than in photos.

It does look better in person.

BTW, I have about 1000miles on the exhaust with no burnt bumper. Injen corrected this before releasing the exhaust.

Syfon- That's just pics of the prototype. Injen lengthened the exhaust on the production units to prevent this- I've had mine on for 4000 miles and there is no discoloration on the bumper.
And yes, Ive also heard that the straight tip version is coming.

Cool I betcha they don't want to spread the word to quickly or they could be stuck with alot of dead inventory.

Who told you guys about the straight tips? Injen?

If it's true, I may hold off on installing the Borla.
