That's a Copper Iso Thermal kit.
Install it. With this kit you don't have to make any adjustments to the Coolant Control Valve (CCV). Its all automatic. Install it and forget it.

LOL ok that's what I thought. Refresh my memory: can I get the throttle body off and put this in without removing anything but the intake tube?

Only with great difficulty.
Its been done but its very tight in there.
You pretty much need to take the upper plenum off, but that's not a big deal.

I just bought the mrev2 with the copper iso thermal spacer and aramid gasket for my 35th anniv revup. Will i hurt anything by going this route since i live in mostly a hot climate, Las Vegas, since the copper is mostly benefitting to a colder climate?

No, you won't hurt anything.
The copper advantage is that you can forget about it. The tap (manual version) is cheaper (i think) and if it got really cold, you'd want to turn it back on.
Short version, you're all set

The method is in the instructions, but you basically put both nuts on the pin and then use them to undo the pin.
