There will surely be plenty of variations to the exhaust system.

There is one thing to be sure, everybody has different preferences and priorities. What one person thinks is an awesome exhaust, to another person it may look and sound like krap.

This is a universal law that applies to all exhaust systems.

I can't think of any exceptions to this rule. And this was fully understood during the desiging of the MD exhaust.
Modularity/adjustability/interchangability is the Motordyne approach to this rule.

The plan is to start with the extreme ends of the spectrum and work into the more conventional looks and sounds for a wide ranging product line.

I completely agree with your statements. You have a very good strategic approach. We all have our likes and dislikes. This is not just for exhaust systems but practically everything in life.

Waiting to see dyno on each product.

I'm sure there is a gain...but how much gain compare to stock that's the question.

Will there be a setup that sounds like the Shockwave but has a different look to it?

I must be crazy because I've searched on this site and online for sound clips of the new exhaust and I can't find anything. Could someone tell me how to find these? Thanks!

^With stock cats its fine.

With resonated test pipes or cats it will be louder.

With regular test pipes it will be even louder.

With Motordyne test pipes (in the video of the white Z) it will be the loudest.

i am curious if the dual shockwave will fit my fujitsubo y-pipe or
if it is required to have your xyz to make it work?

also curious of weight of it compared to my fuji rear section
(similiar to nismo system in shape but have been told mine is a little
lighter)

It depends on which version.

Dual - Yes
True Dual - No

I don't know the weight of the Nismo or the Fuji.

The dual and true dual both look the same from the back.

But they each have different options. One diverges right at the XYZ pipe. The other diverges behind the XYZ resonator.

Lets wait until the systems are both ready so I can release more comparative details on them.

Yes, its a terrible pic, but it was from my cell under the car, its hard ok!?

I installed the XYZ pipe and Berk HFCs this weekend. Feels great and sounds great, I think the little borla single (dual exit) exhaust is bottlenecking right now, but not for long.

I'm using the resonator module and it is very quiet! I have only heard it from inside the car so far, but its tame and not raspy.

Fitment was perfect!
