I absolutely love my SES the way it is. I have the Injen CAI with it and i've had a lot of compliments on the way it sounds. As for the tips, some people tell me it's awesome, others say they would prefer them to look stock. Myself, I hate mainstream. I want a product that will set my car apart from the rest. I think you guys hit a homerun with this exhaust. Lots of power, great sound and unique look. I realize sales are the bottom line and more people seem to be buying the borla. But IMO...keep up the good work.

2. We made HP by testing the diameter. We could increase the diameter but do you really want less HP? Some people think bigger is better but we let the dyno determine the diamter, the bends, etc. We try several combinations to come out with the best part.

3. We will think of something for those that want to buy the straight that already purchased the angled. No promises. We'll do what we can. Perhaps a rebate.

Thanks for the suggestions. Hope I addressed your post.
Hey rtakahima,
Thanks for all your comments. Noted on the pipe size issue. As far as working on something for us angled tip owners who may want straight tips, the rebate sounds very cool. It's a good way for a manufacturer to take care of it's loyal customers. Thanks.

Default I would buy

Like the H.P. gains

like the sound

Do not like the angled tips because they do not appear to exit the rear bumper properly

Will the sound and H.P. change with the straight tip design that fit the two existing exhaust points molded into the rear bumper?

Ditto: Count on me for a buy when you figure out the tips. I have been waiting for the right system for 10 months and like your system the best, but couldn't go for the exhaust dumping out on the bumper.

You fix the angle.... I'll buy immediately!!
Thanks for listening!!!!!!!!

If you like the Borla style, I suggest buy the Borla style. Our main focus was stainless inside and out and more importantly, dyno proven performance. I think the new release will be what everybody asked for. I will post an update with dB readings sometime this weak.

Where is the update ?

I think fail and I are the only ones who truly like the angled look of the Injen SES. Also, the sound isn't that bad, especially when you get used to it. I think Injen has already made a superior product, but it is real great that they take the time to post on a messageboard to let everyone know that they are listening and responding to their customers' needs.

-edit-

xlr8 appreciates it as well.

cbsuper-
Count me in on the angled looks. The look has grown on me & i actually love it now. Not too many Z's here in Chicago, but i always get heavy stares from other Z owners when they see the tips. Everyone seems to like them cause they don't look stock.. they just look mean & look ready to race. The sound is even better.

I too like them the way they are.

If it's not broke, don't fix it.
