Default Help - Nismo CAI Normal Sounds?

So I just installed the Nismo CAI on my 03 Touring yesterday, when you start it up it sounds good and when you give it some gas you can hear the slight sucking sound, but when I take off and get towards higher RPM's it almost sounds like a high pitched screeching sound, I use to have a AEM on my honda civic and sounded nothing like this, and it dosenst do it all the time, it does its sparactically at higher RPM's, anyone else experience this? is it normal? Everything is installed like it should be and everything is tight, the air filter is pushed up as close as it can be in the fender well but is touching it slightly. Any help would be appreciated

Does it sound like a belt slipping at lower RPM's? I installed a JWT pop about a week back and it does the same ****, I cant stand it. Will sell soon.

Much Thanks to Hraesvelg as he's right on the money, I've snapped a picture of the problem, anyone know how to fix it without having to take the whole thing apart? Its very hard getting my hand down there to try and do anything

I don't recall if I had to take it apart or what, I had that problem about 5 years ago.

You'll probably have to take it apart but find the diameter of that hose, go to home depot or hardware store of your choice. But a 90* fitting that will fit the hose, cut said hose...voila, done and no more high pitched noise.
